Q1. While
programming IC AT89C51 using UNIPro10u the IC doesn't work, but the
same IC on a different programmer with same program works O.K. |
A1. The above mistake normally arises due to wrong format selection.
Go to LOAD icon, select file name & click open, "LOAD A FILE
TO BUFFER" & if the file is a Hex file, select INTEL Hex
format. The new UNIPro software version [3.87 & later] has auto
file detection which identifies the type of the source file selected. |
Q2. How
do I load a program HEX file & EEPROM data file in a single file,
I am using AVR IC’s |
| A2. First select LOAD option, select the program HEX file to load
it “To buffer, Address [hex] & select O.K., then again select
LOAD option select DATA file click OPEN & then select “To
buffer Address “ XXXXX from where you want to store EEPROM DATA

Q3. I have
a master IC PIC16F877 [from which I have to read the contents &
store in a new IC]. My problem is when I read & program in a new
IC the new programmed IC does not function as per the Old one. |
| A3. IC PIC 16F877 has many config settings which also has to be
read while reading, so before reading from chip please select the
“Prog Config” option in Edit Auto menu, press read &
then program the same in a new IC. The new IC programmed will have
the same config settings as per the master IC. |
Q4. I need
to find out the device support of all IC programmers? |
| A4. Device supported by each model is listed on our webpage, however
if you need to see the exact updated list till date, please download
the UNIPro
IC Search Utility software latest version from our webpage &
view the programmer supported by the device you enter. |
Q5. Do
I need to set the device settings of PIC microcontroller every time
I load a program hex file? |
A5. No, If you have finalized your codes, it is
suggested that you save your settings by clicking on settings menu
& next saving the same in “save project”. The project
settings will save all the settings of the device as well as of
the programmer. But please note if you update your UNIPro software
version, please make a new project file using newly downloaded
